H/H Implementation Guidelines

Before you begin regular processing with the Handheld module, some initial steps must be followed to setup the ROUTES that may be used on this Handheld. The route(s) determine which customers will be available to your handheld.  You must implement the Delivery Route Sales module before using this system.

A) Update program

Use the H/H Update Program option on the H/H Utilities Menu to be sure that the most current program is on this handheld.

B) Defining the route for each handheld

Use the H/H Setup Utility option on the H/H Utilities Menu to setup the route for this handheld.

C) Transfer Data

Use the H/H Transfer Data option on the H/H Utilities Menu to copy the Delivery Sales master information onto this handheld.

D) Select the route

If there are multiple routes assigned to this handheld, use the H/H Select Route option on the H/H Utilities Menu to select which route you will be delivering for on this handheld.
