A/D System Overview

The Ad Design module provides you the ability to design advertising flyers, and then to E-Mail that design to your printing supplier, who will do the actual high-quality printing for you under their arrangements with your company. You may print a lower-quality proof at any time to aid you in your design.

Other than initially installing the software, there is no set-up necessary to begin use of the Ad Design system.

The Ad Design module has the following features:

1) maintain certain “control” defaults and variables for the system through the Control Maintenance option on the A/D Master Files Maintenance Menu. (For the printing supplier only)

2) create and modify Size Categories for drop-in ads through the Size Category Maintenance option on the A/D Master Files Maintenance Menu. (For the printing supplier only)

3) create and modify flyer templates (Style Sheets) through the Style Sheet Maintenance option on the A/D Master Files Maintenance Menu. (For the printing supplier only)

4) create and modify Drop-In ads through the Drop-In Maintenance option on the A/D Master Files Maintenance Menu. (For the printing supplier only)

5) add, modify, and delete advertising flyers.

6) print a lower-quality proof of your design.

7) E-Mail your design to your printing supplier for the production of high-quality flyers.
